A Day At The Races

While daddy worked on the fence back home the boys and mommy spent a day at the races in Clarkia. We were able to watch Uncie ride and the boys were excited to get their first photo on Uncie's motorbike. After the races the boys had their first Helmer Burger at the Helmer Cafe.

Meet the Tweets

Last weekend Grammy M and Papa DD held the “Meet the Tweets” BBQ at their house in Orofino. There was an amazing turn out of wonderful family and friends.

The food prepared by Silas Gilliam and his family, owner of Bear Paws BBQ, was delicious and a big hit.
The boys were so excited about their party that they had a hard time napping throughout the day and fell asleep 10 minutes before the guests started arriving. After a quick nap they woke up to greet their guests and enjoyed being admired and held by everyone.
They also enjoyed hanging out with their baby friends and look forward to more gatherings in the future.
They spent Sunday recovering from all the partying the night before and enjoyed a relaxing evening on the boat.

The babies paid a visit to the Clearwater Tribune last week and took over for an afternoon.

Directions to BBQ:

-From Highway 12 take bridge crossing Clearwater River onto Michigan Ave.
-Drive approximately 3 miles on Michigan Ave/Grangemont Road (Michigan Ave turns into Grangemont Road)
-After crossing under train trestle keep eyes open for drive way with log arch on left hand side of road (just after horse arena with log arch on left hand side of road).
-After crossing under log arch keep to driveway on right, follow drive until approaching log house on top of hill.

Boating on Dworshak

The boys took their first trip out on the boat. I think they really enjoyed it, although they weren’t too thrilled about their lifejackets. They pushed up on their little chubby cheeks, but Mommy and Daddy’s rules are lifejackets if the boat is moving and then when they are mobile they will have to have lifejackets anytime they are near the water, so they will have to learn early.
